Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide success in the early 21st century. Swift's passion for music was evident at an early stage. From plays for children to singing in front of thousands of people, Swift made rapid progress. Swift in 2011, then 11, sang The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. In the year following, Swift began writing her own music. Swift was a singer who took ideas from Shania's music as well as The Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm in country music wrote her original songs to reflect her feelings of alienation. Swift was just thirteen when her parents made the decision to sell their Pennsylvania farm and move to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could then devote all of her efforts to contacting label labels from the country scene in Nashville.
